Upon recommendation by the Westin Nova Scotian Sales team, I acquired the services of downeast destination management for help with our 6th Annual Scientific Conference, taking place in Halifax in May 2010. Working from Guelph, having ddm in Halifax, with connections across the city, became invaluable. Originally contracted to help us run a Geo Caching Team Building Event, they became my go-to for all things local and ended up sourcing a sign printer, a glassware provider, a dinner cruise and a delegate bag giveaway, not to mention offering some excellent sightseeing advice for our participants.
